An exploration of tangible interaction with music

Functional Requirements
  • Map physical objects
  • Physical object to represent digital information
  • The system should have a variety of sounds and music
  • Tangible objects should be graspable and manipulate easily

Non-Functional Requirements
  • Cyclindrically shaped objects operates through rotation
  • Rectangular shaped objects limited in movement; horizontal, vertical, left or right
  • Sounds are fixed for each object or sounds are reassigned through configuration for each object
  • Tangible objects - lightweight & colourful
  • Size of the glass table top should be large enough dimensions to place more than one object
  • Feedback shoudl be instant
